Children up and down the country have been rejoicing this week as their schools break up for the summer holidays.

These cheers will no doubt extend to inside the walls of Kensington Palace as Prince George and Princess Charlotte have completed another year at Thomas’ School in Battersea.

Much like generations of royals before them, the Cambridge children are receiving a private education at the school in South West London.

At the school, which has also been attended by the likes of Cara Delevingne and Florence Welch, the royals have the chance to learn several exciting subjects, as well as indulge themselves in over 60 different extracurricular clubs.

Akin to other British schools, they take lessons in literacy, numeracy, science, physical education, art, geography, history, computing, music and PSHCE.

But there is also the chance for wider studies with regular lessons of French, swimming and ballet.

Prince William previously revealed that Prince George was taking, and enjoying, ballet lessons – a pursuit that’s been lauded by royal fans as a sign that the monarchy is modernising.

Outside of the classroom, Thomas’ School offers over 60 different clubs for the students to explore their passions.

From ‘Ninja Kids’ to ‘Wheel Based Pottery’, and even ‘Mindfulness’, there seems to be something for everyone.

Perhaps after a long day of studying his times tables, Prince George likes to enjoy a spell of ‘Music Technology’, or maybe even some fencing.

His younger sister might feel more inclined to go to the ‘Mini Inventors’ club or practice her break dancing – seeing as her father previously told reporters how much she loves to dance.

While we don’t know what the young royals favourite school clubs are, we do know they are very lucky to have so much on offer!
