Former Call The Midwife star Victoria Yeates left her role as a nun in the hit show to play a witch in the popular Harry Potter spin off Fantastic Beasts: Grimes of Grindelwald.
The actress played Sister Winifred in the BBC series until her departure to star in the second film by best selling author JK Rowling.

A continuation from the first film released in 2016, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald focused on Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander on a quest to defeat Grindelwald of his evil plans with instructions from headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law).
The star left Poplar for the wizarding world

The star swapped her nunnery for witchcraft when she decided to take on a new acting position as a Hogwarts student Bunty.
She bid farewell to her cast members and crew after having spent five years on the show saying that she would miss it dearly.
“I have absolutely adored my time on Call The Midwife and leave having made some best friends on the show.”
Adding, “I have been lucky to have worked with some of the best actresses and actors in the business”
“However, with the opportunity of Fantastic Beasts and all that it entails, it became clear that it was time to hang up Sister Windfred’s wimple and move onto the next adventure.”
Viewers saw her last scenes in the Christmas special episode that aired in 2018.
