Madeline Duggan was only 12 years old when she was cast as Lauren Branning in EastEnders in 2008.
She played the eldest daughter to Max Branning and older and wiser sister to Abi Branning in the beloved and long running soap.
Before this role however, Madeline was already a young star taking the industry by storm.
At the age of just nine she was in the West End production of Les Miserables and had a lead part in the short film Between Us in 2005.

One of the most memorable scenes that the actress was involved in was the affair between Stacey Slater and her dad Max Branning.
In the explosive scenes, a mischievous Lauren exposed the pair to her entire family by playing a DVD of them together on Christmas Day.
In 2008, Madeline’s character was in another tense storyline when she was groomed by paedophile Tony King.
After four years of being on EastEnders, Madeline eventually left the popular soap and her role was taken up by actress Jacqueline Jossa.
She may have left Walford but that hasn’t stopped the super glam Madeline, now 27, from continuing to act in other shows.
The star is all grown up and glamorous
In 2012, Madeline took up the role of Amy Chester in crime drama Silent Witness and the following year starred as a waitress in Channel 4 drama Dates, Sky Atlantic’s French detective series The Tunnel: Sabotage and Home Alone in 2017.
Aside from her television roles, Madeline has appeared in some films including Between Us, Spoilt Eggs, Everyone’s Going To Die, and most recently Maybe I’m Fine.

In 2010, she appeared in musical Rules of Love alongside Laura Aikman, Daniel Anthony and Charlie Clay.
Not only that but the soap star has also shown her face in two music videos: Feeder’s Borders and Shaduno’s Funhouse.
