Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk in a celebrity’s footsteps for a day – well it may not be as out of reach as you might think.
Top10Casinos released a list of the Most Photogenic Celebrity Neighbourhoods in the world, and a London neighbourhood managed to crack the top 10, yes that’s right, the top 10 in the entire world.
So where is this infamous neighbourhood? Why, it’s Richmond, of course.

Richmond Park is full of wonder

The London borough came in joint ninth alongside Harlem in the big NYC, while Miami, Hollywood (what a surprise), and Nashville snatched the top three places.
In fact Richmond was the only location outside of the US to make it into the top 10!
But what makes Richmond such a picturesque destination for the celebrity population?

Richmond-upon-Thames possesses a timeless charm, full of vast green spaces and historic palaces – no wonder celebs want to trot down its pavements.
The borough covers the likes of Barnes, Ham and Petersham, Hampton, Teddington, Kew and Twickenham – to name a few.
You can sit back and watch the infamous deer run through Richmond Park. Who knows, you might even see Fenton run after them? (If you know, you know)

Or feel like royalty wandering around the 300 acres of Kew Gardens, where you can find all sorts of tropical flora – including the rancid Titan Arum (when it’s in bloom, of course), or discover the Chinese Pagoda.
But if the heavens decide to open, settle down in the National Archives to explore the country’s rich history.
If you’re after a slice of palatial life, take a trip to Henry VIII’s old abode at Hampton Court Palace, or visit one of the most haunted houses in the UK, Ham House.
Slip down Brewers Lane to find some great local eateries and shopping destinations, including Gelateria Danieli.
And make sure you take a stroll along the River Thames, where you’ll find more than one pub to park up for a scenic drink.
Or even better, hire a rowing boat on a wonderful summer’s day.
Richmond is a rural oasis in the midst of the city, no wonder it’s home to the likes of Sir David Attenborough and Tom Hardy!
So why wait? Take a trip down the Thames and rub shoulders with the local celebs in this London neighbourhood.
