João Baptista Borges: in order to increase the efficiency of the Program, foreseeing an increase in the number of trips by truck drivers, reservoirs with a capacity of five thousand liters have been acquired and will be installed in several neighborhoods at their water supply points through the Cisterns.
In the framework of actions around the reactivation of the supply of the precious liquid through the network, the highlight goes to the neighborhoods Zona Verde 1 and Km 9 B, where intense work is being developed that may culminate with positive results still this year. Solutions for the regular supply of water to the Kilamba and Sequele centers have also been identified, whose accessories are in the process of being acquired, João Baptista Borges added.
In response to a request from the Ministry of Education, the Minister, João Baptista Borges, oriented his staff to proceed soon with a survey of the number of schools outside the coverage of the electricity and water network, so that, according to the specificity of each one, adequate solutions may be found for their attendance, an action that should start in Luanda.
