If you tune into ITV’s Rolling With It this Saturday (August 14) you might just spot a familiar face in actor Will Mellor.
That’s because he’s one of Coronation Street’s newest additions, playing the role of drug lord Harvey Gaskill in the Manchester soap, he also starred in the iconic Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps as Gaz Wilkinson.
But one role you may not remember Will playing is the one he landed on EastEnders all the way back in 2007, meaning he’s now played both big sides in the classic soap war.

Will’s EastEnders character Warren was a nasty piece of work, luckily being thwarted in his attempt to drug Carly Wicks (Kellie Shirley)
Will started out his acting career in a third soap, Hollyoaks, where he played James ‘Jambo’ Bolton for 73 episodes between 1995 and 1998, then again in 2004.
As well as this he starred in every episode of Two Pints of Lager for 10 years between 2001 and 2011.
But his appearances in Albert Square came about in 2007 when he landed the role of Warren Stamp for three episodes.
Warren is a salesman who arrives in Walford as seemingly a bit of a charmer, however it soon turns out he’s a sexual predator, attacking Preeti Choraria (Babita Pohoomull) on a date.
He then goes on another date with Carly Wicks (Kellie Shirley) where he attempts to drug and rape her by spiking her drink.

Sean Slater thankfully comes to Carly’s rescue and sends Warren running away, unfortunately escaping despite his danger to others.
It seems Will has a knack for playing nasty characters in soaps as his drug lord role in Corrie as Harvey Gaskill doesn’t seem much nicer than the lowlife he played in ‘Enders.
That said, we’re sure Will is lovely and you can catch him this Saturday on ITV’s Rolling With It at 6.30pm.
