The contract was awarded to Sinohydro Corporation Limited, in the amount of US$675 million, and includes construction and assembly of a total of nine 60/15 kv and 60/30 kv electrical substations, 1,000 transformer stations, construction of high and medium voltage lines, assembly of single and three-phase prepaid meters, amongst others, and is expected to be concluded in August of this year, João Baptista Borges said.
