Dilbaro, 23 was found guilty of wounding after initially fleeing the country days after the attack. He was arrested at Heathrow Airport, however, when attempting to return to the UK from Egypt on July 14 2020.

Mr Al-Araimi, who was stabbed to death was wearing a £34,460 Patek Phillipe watch whilst his friend Mr Kanoo was wearing a £7,150 rolex.

The pair were targeted before midnight on December 5, 2019 as they made their way through a Knightsbridge alleyway not far from Harrods.

The pair managed to get away following the scuffle but Mr Al-Araimi collapsed and died 40 minutes after the attack despite efforts of paramedics.

Samantha Yelland, from the CPS, said: “Killer Badir Al-Nazi set out armed with a knife in central London. He and Arseboon Dilbaro were waiting for victims.

“Mohammed Al-Araimi and his friend had simply gone out for dinner together and could never have anticipated the violence that would be inflicted upon them that evening.
