Police have launched an urgent appeal for an 80-year-old man missing from North London. Raymond, 80, was last seen in Haringey, North London yesterday afternoon (February 18). He is described as a 5ft9 white man with a ‘frail build’ and grey hair.
The Metropolitan Police tweeted out an appeal at around 1pm today (February 19). It shared two photos of Raymond to aid with the search – one is a close-up photograph of his face, and the other a CCTV image from near the last sighting of him.
In the CCTV image, Raymond can be seen wearing a cap and dark-coloured clothes. The Haringey branch of the Metropolitan Police tweeted: “80-year-old Raymond is missing from Haringey. He was last seen yesterday afternoon.
“Raymond is white, 5ft9, with a frail build and short grey hair. He’s wearing the dark clothes and hat in the CCTV photo. Please call 999 (ref 5788/18FEB) if you see him.”

The Government website states that there are a number of organisations for reporting a missing person. These include Missing Persons Unit, Missing People, Missing Kids UK, and Look For Them.
It continues: “If the police find a person aged under 18, their parents or guardians will usually be told their whereabouts unless police believe the child’s safety is at risk. If the person is aged over 18, the police will not pass on their whereabouts without their permission.
“If you spot a missing person contact the police. If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Missing People to report the sighting .”
