Police officers in Hackney have launched an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a vulnerable 78-year old woman.
Hilda Thomas has been missing from her home in Hackney all day and friends and family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
She is believed to be in the Hackney area and wearing a signature hat.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police are still looking for 78-year-old Hilda & are concerned for her welfare.
“Hilda is #missing from her home in #Hackney & is believed to be wearing the distinctive hat pictured.
