A man has died after being stabbed in the neck on a street in Stratford in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to Henniker Road at 1.14am on Friday (August 6) to reports of a stabbing.
Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene, where a man, 23, was found with a knife injury to his neck.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene, a police spokesperson said.
Another man, 19, was taken to hospital in East London, where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening.
An investigation has been launched by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. A crime scene remains in place and no arrests have been made.
