Amazon Alexa is reported to be crashing today (21 January) for thousands of users as people report outages with the system worldwide.
According to the Mirror, many people are reporting issues with the software from being unable to use the product at all to inconvenient glitches.
Some have reportedly struggled to turn on their lights – with others not able to use voice commands on the product.
Almost 8,000 people have reported issues with Alexa this morning via Downdetector, and the number is growing rapidly.
Alexa is an “intelligent cloud-based voice AI that you can talk to” to help make daily tasks easier, according to Amazon.
