The Metropolitan Police Service Roads and Transport Policing Command has reported that a police car was rammed several times by a small lorry on Wednesday (4 August) night following a track and pursuit.
Officers in Hackney proceeded to make contact with the stolen vehicle in order to prevent any injury to the police and members of the public, at which point their car was allegedly rammed.
Thankfully the officers emerged unhurt.
The driver, meanwhile, was arrested on suspicion of theft, and dangerous driving as well as several other alleged offences according to the police.
