EastEnders’ Slater family is one of the best known – and loved – in the soap’s long, long history.

And while Sean Slater was a prime member of one of the Square’s first families, he also turned heads throughout his tenure with his rugged good looks and dreamy eyes.

Robert Kazinsky, who played Sean from 2006 until 2009, was the son of Jean (Gillian Wright) and Stacey’s (Lacey Turner) brother – but once he’d left the soap behind actor Robert went on to big things in Tinsel Town itself.

His character was introduced as the troublesome child and arrived in Walford to take revenge on new arrival Al who was an ex-solider and former buddy of his portrayed by Andrew McKay.

Soon after settling in, he took a liking to Tanya Branning, seeking to start a relationship with the housewife and husband to Max Branning.

Sean was involved with multiple women during his stay in Walford but he eventually settled down with Roxy Mitchell whom he married.

However, a devastated Sean left the Square upon finding out that Roxy’s child, who he believed was his, was in fact Jack’s which more than he could bear.

Since his departure from the soap, Robert has gone on to do spectacular things in his career and even made it big in America which is difficult to accomplish for many British actors.

Robert starred in the successful fantasy and horror show on HBO True Bloods and even starred in the 2019, billion-dollar-breaking superhero flick Captain Marvel.

He was invited to the biggest TV and film event in America, the San Diego Comic-con event, back in 2015 where he was one of the celebrities panellists.

But that didn’t stop him remembering his roots as the actor went back to star in EastEnders in 2019 – appearing in a few episodes after reprising his role.
