We love spotting soap stars who know each other off screen, whether they’re secretly married, related, or the best of friends.
It’s well known that many of us end up doing the same jobs as our parents, and acting is no different.
Debbie Rush, 55, played the notorious Anna Windass in Coronation Streetfrom 2008 to 2018, but what many don’t know is the extent to which the acting genes run in her family.
Debbie has three children with her husband Andrew – William, Poppy and Tom.

It turns out that not one but two of the actor’s children have acting careers themselves.
William, 27, is best known for his stint on Waterloo Road as Josh Stevenson from 2009-2013, as well as appearing in seven episodes of Grange Hill.
He even followed in his mum’s footsteps by popping up on Corrie in two separate episodes in 2014.
But if you think you recognise the actor from somewhere else? That’s because his talents apparently don’t stop at acting. William was on The X Factor in 2016.

It doesn’t stop there. Debbie’s daughter Poppy, 29, appeared in EastEndersas the character of Sophie Dodd when she was just 15.
She was also spotted in an episode of Grange Hill in 2008, and in Emmerdalein 2010.

He is a musician, and he and Poppy apparently sing in a band together, named The Sticks.
