The stars of British soaps are household names in their own right, entertaining millions of viewers weekly on the likes of Eastenders and Coronation Street.

The TV nerds at My London have been at it again, and this time we’ve found the Spice Girl who you completely forgot appeared in not just Eastenders but also The Bill.

A year later, Emma appeared in the ITV police drama The Bill playing a troubled teenager.
Before she was a Spice Girl, Emma even auditioned for the role of Bianca Jackson before the character was introduced to EastEnders in 1993.
The Spice Girls didn’t form until 1994, so it’s interesting to think how the course of pop culture history could have changed had Emma Bunton been cast as Bianca.
Few could argue that things turned out for the best – Patsy Palmer’s portrayal as the fiery redhead is legendary, and Emma was part of the biggest girl band of all time, selling 90 million records worldwide in the process.
Emma’s more recent television appearances include a recurring role on Absolutely Fabulous, being a contestant on the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing and being a judge on the ITV celebrity skating show Dancing on Ice in 2010 and 2011.
In 2012, she famously reunited with the Spice Girls for an unforgettable performance at the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, and the band have reunited again since – sans Victoria Beckham.
